Trainers Sherri Malouf, President Since then she has worked with many companies (for example; Proctor & Gamble, Digital Equipment Corporation, Pepsi, Whirlpool, Westinghouse, National Institutes of Health, Avid Technology, American Cyanamid, Mitre, BBN, General Signal, Philip Morris) and the biggest challenge of clients seems to be, very simply put -- how to work with other people. In fact, she states that that it seems to be even harder these days and the politics, turf wars, power struggles are all alive and well in businesses today -- whether in the private or public sector. She says "It amazes me how difficult it is to get things done but our clients still report the same roadblocks which always come down to their ability to work with and influence others without making political mistakes." Sherri has been described as genuine, authentic, caring and a straight shooter. She has trained influencing, negotiating, collaboration, and trainer skills, and worked on projects which include strategic planning, sales conference workshops, meeting design and facilitation, competency studies, and teambuilding. Cynthia Smith, Vice President In 1991, Cynthia spent one year under the guidance of the Director of Total Quality Worldwide for a US Fortune 50 company learning a process called Concept Development. The vast amount of customer information gathered was used to form a concept for the new influence program, Creating Results Through Influence. She still uses the process to stay current with customer needs and to insure the quality of LMA's products. Cynthia also has a unique approach with people in that she is driven to make a connection and really understand customer needs. She helps customers organize their thoughts and understand their own needs. Rather than prescribe, she builds rapport and creates a trusting space where the buyer can explore new options for problem solving. Cynthia continues to work with customers after they've attended a public program offering post program support and gathering information to improve LMA's products. Writing has always been a passion for Cynthia. In her younger days she wrote poetry and was published once at 16 years of age. As an English Literature major at George Washington University, she continued to hone her skills. Cynthia uses this passion for writing to communicate the uniqueness of LMA's products and services through marketing materials. She writes creative concepts for different products using Concept Development. In addition, she has written most of the proposals for the public sector projects. Cynthia attended George Washington University as an English major.
