Creating Results

The Basics
Creating Results has been designed by our customers. We asked them what they wanted in a program about influence. They said; "Don't just teach us the influencing skills. Teach us how to deal with the organization and our own mindsets." Creating Results was born and looks at influence from three critical areas; Organizational Street Smarts, Influencing Others, and Leading Yourself. Through these three areas the topic of influencing without authority is thoroughly and masterfully covered.

Creating Results is based on in-depth research about the skills and knowledge needed to successfully influence in organizations. We conducted 500 hours of research and interviewed people from a wide range of levels and organizations for 110 hours. In addition, more than 1250 hours were invested in the design and development of Creating Results.

Working in a constantly changing environment makes it challenging to implement ideas and create desired results. Influencing people to "buy-in" to your ideas is important, especially when you have no formal authority.

Your success depends on your ability to build partnerships with co-workers, identify key people to assist you, and implement ideas that increase effectiveness and productivity.

Objectives
Through Creating Results, you:

• Develop flexibility when influencing others

• Feel more confident in taking risks

• Communicate in ways to create successful ideas

• Have a system to discover who in your organization will support your projects

• Increase your ability to make an impact

• Establish better partnerships

• Implement projects and create desired results!

Who Should Attend
Anyone who has to influence without authority or across organizational lines. Anyone who wants to increase their ability to influence others, strengthen their own mindset, and have a system for navigating the formal and informal workings of their organization. For example, middle managers, individual contributors, content or technical experts, internal consultants, etc.

Leadership and Change

The Basics
Sometimes what you need most in the chaos of change is a logical process which encompasses the illogical. This process enables you to collect the common sense of the organization and put it to work in a format that allows you to analyze seemingly unrelated information. But analysis is always the easier task. How do you manage the transition? What leadership skills need to change? Many are finding that what worked in the past doesn't always work now so you need to be creative and forge new paths. Leadership & Change has the tools you need to do this.

Everybody needs to work better, faster, and cheaper!

That means re-engineering, restructuring, downsizing, new processes, new projects, new products. The list goes on and on. Change is unending and is a fact of organizational life.

So why not learn a road map for assessing, designing, and implementing change that makes it better, faster, and cheaper?

Objectives
Through Leadership and Change, you:

• Improve your skills to make real change happen quickly

• Identify what's going on now and what needs to happen

• Build on your strengths to initiate and manage change efforts

• Become more adept at implementing lasting improvements

• Increase your ability to shift mindsets around personal and organizational change

Who Should Attend
For anyone who is implementing or initiating change efforts and leading product design/delivery projects. If your situation is complex, you need to move quickly, or you need a better road map, Leadership & Change provides a system for successfully managing the process from assessment through implementation.
